I actually recommend The Sims 2 Bodyshop. If you don't have the game, and Respect copyright laws, you can get the prerelease version
here. If you aren't too picky about copyright laws, you can just find your own illegal copy.

What I'm thinking is you can get your avatar's face the way you want it, save it, mail it to me with suggestions for clothing and other improvements, then I'll give them nice hair, a better skintone, fancier clothes, jewelry, etc. using the game, take some pictures, and send the pictures (and your revised Sim if you want) back.
