Hello, my name is Miyako. I feel like I should know something:
Is Complete Mafia: West Coast something I can play as it is, or do I need Complete Mafia d20 as a reference book?

Well to be honest you are able to play a game of Mafia with The West Coast Book..however your really cheating yourself, The Original "east coast" Version has alot of the base work for jobs, historical time lines etc.
As well certain talent trees for starting levels, weaknesses, weapons and standard ingame combat rules, and in mafia this is key .
So you would save yourself alot of head aches and purchase the core rule book.
