A man just shy of 6 feet weighing in at about 180 lbs steps out of the open door of a twin engine private jet parked on the tarmac of Las Dudas Airport and begins walking down the set of stairs that had been rolled up next to the jet. He is closely followed by a woman with long black hair and a short but not distastefully cut red dress, as the man reaches the bottom of the stairs he drops his olive colored duffle bag, turns and offers his hand to the lady following him down the stairs assisting her down the remainder of the stairs. He briefly approaches her, brushes back her hair and whispers something into her ear before pulling her close and kissing her. He then lifts both her small leather suitcase and his own duffle and begins walking to the black limousine parked alongside the jet, waits for the driver to open the trunk and places the two bags into it, he then walks around the side of the car and opens the door for the lady and helps the lady into the car. He briefly mentions to the driver to leave the trunk open and walks back to the jet, opens up a rear cargo hatch and pulls out two large black plastic cases then carries them to the car and closes the trunk. He pulls a cell phone from his interior coat pocket, reaches into his pants pocket for a slip of paper looks at it briefly crumples it and begins dialing his phone. He pauses briefly as someone on the other end answers the line and responds “Yes, is this the Red Star Hotel and Casino?” pauses briefly listening to the phone “I’d like a room, preferably a suite” pauses again “No, I do not have a reservation, but my wife and I decided to Fly out to Las Dudas to renew our wedding vows and I’ve heard good things about the Red Star.” brief pause “Yes, the name is Vincenzo and Natalia Dartino, but you can call me Vinnie.” pause “Great I’ll see you in a few minutes then..” He gets off the phone gets into the car and gets driven off the tarmac.

But let’s not start from the middle shall we…

Vinnie Dartino got his start in Family business in New Milan thanks to his cousin Gino, boss of the local mafia. Not wanting to spoil his younger cousin (or upset his made men) Gino decided to place Vinnie under Kuri Winters authority, a position in which Vinnie excelled. Using connections from his previous armed forces career he called in favors to be placed on a supervisory duty of the US Army Armory Depot just outside of New Milan city limits. With the help of Knuckles, a street sweeper death machine of a car was made for Alexei Kalashnikov, of which even Q branch of the James bond films would be envious, speaking of that car, Alexei, you need to bring it to me to maintain, I’m fairly sure the barrels of the machine guns have rusted through by now considering I don’t think you ever bothered to maintain them… Anyways, Vinnie supplied arms to the Dartino family as well as working as a soldier on a few jobs over the years.

Unfortunately the pace of progress could not be kept up, The Dartino Family had a manner of being very aggressive with the neighboring gangs and eliminating any who felt the Dartino way wasn’t how they wanted to do things. The Vodkamob we’re the first of the other gangs to attempt to make a move against the Dartino’s, however, Vinnie had done preparatory work for a few months prior to the aggression building up. On the day that the Vodkamob crossed onto Dartino territory, small precision explosions ripped through the city inside the houses of many Vodkamob soldiers and bosses, the wrecked cable boxes and shrapnel ridden corpses throughout the city helped reinforce the large case that the Feds were building against the Dartino family accelerating the FBI incursion into New Milan drastically. So Vinnie did what he had to in order to survive a Federal Task Force, prosecution and possibly execution with a body count that high, disappear.

The only problem with disappearing was that Vinnie couldn’t take his wife Natalia to whom he is was and will always be fiercely loyal to with him, so he’d have to find some way to come back home to her. Thanks to his old connections Vinnie found himself reenlisted and deployed smack dab in the middle of all the –stans in the sandbox of the middle east with an assignment to kill You Know Who.
While unable to talk about many of the details of the occurrences overseas lets just say a ‘Mission Accomplished’ and a presidential pardon from GWB, Vinnie could step back onto U.S. soil again as a non-felon.

First thing Vinnie did upon arriving back in New Milan was visit an old favorite florist close to home, you know the Ma and Pa kind of place that does better jobs than the cost, buy a bouquet of roses. Second stop was by his house to apologize to his wife about being gone so long and explain everything that had happened up to that point. Well, after the first good nights rest he had in far too long a time (albeit on the couch) he promptly headed of first thing in the morning to a travel agency and then stopped by the municipal office to file the paper work for his class III firearms license renewal.

So now he’s on his second honeymoon, looking to pick up where he left his life years ago in Las Dudas and who knows, maybe start a family and go legit.

Like they say, “Anything can happen in Dudas”

*As Vinnie sits down in the Limo he notices the driver pauses and turns his head to reveal himself as no other than Alexi's right hand man Harold Reznik, often talked about in circles as no more than a rumor, and perhaps rightfully so as his rep continues to be a mirage of smoke and black magic with some of the stunts he is rumored to be behind. Harold cleans his glasses and fixes his silver and black hair and smiles*

Harold=Mr.Dartino....how very nice of you to visit us in Las Duedas, Im sure Mr.Klaznikov will be more than thrilled to see an old friend...Oh and no need to worry about the car your cousin made Ive made sure it is in perfect condition.

Harold=I will remind you however ..any outside weapons on your person or in this car will not be permitted on Hotel grounds points to the outside where 3 men are inspecting the 2 large plastic cases. Im sure you understand

But of course Harold, I understand perfectly *as he passes a colt 1911 butt first to the driver*. In fact I was going to request that Alexi personally care for the weapons and store them in his vault if he would be so kind. I am afterall only here for a honeymoon, not a war.

So how's business anyways?

*Harold takes the gun and puts it in his jacket pocket*

Harold= Mr. Dartino i assure you , your weapons will be taken care...Alexi has been looking forward to your visit..Im sure after playing in the "sandbox" for this time you can use some R and R. *Harold cleans his glasses* Oh and as well Mr.Dartino ...Mr.Klaznikov has taken the liberty of putting you in "The Residential Imperium" its the 2nd largest Penthouse in the Hotel..2nd only to Alexi's of course. And of course sir we wouldnt dream of charging an old friend of Mr.Klaznikov.

I'm upgrading Anna's convertible with a roll bar and Kevlar roof and interior, and a new paint job. I'd like to keep the car as light as possible so if you have any weapons that are light, I'll mod it to her car.

All back together again...hahaha.
