*With Harold's absence, Jackie takes it upon herself to visit Alzeracom and see what jobs she would be working on. And without being able to go to the more interesting rooms to talk with people, she starts talking with people. Starting with anyone with medical training and ideas that may help Kuri in his situation. Gaining that knowledge, she takes it upon herself to get the information from doctors on who would be doing the testing. As she continues to talk with them while walking around the building, she texts Kuri the needed information to get the procedure and testing started beginning on the next business week.*

*After finishing her discussions with the medical team, Jackie begins to gain information on where Knuckles could be of great use. After finding the technical part of the building, she begins to list Knuckles known abilities so he can be contacted regarding employment and specific jobs that may or may not be in Alzeracom's current work load. With conversations over to allow those to get back to work, she texts Knuckles information as to who might be calling regarding a job in a division to work on any current or future projects regarding technology and modifications to anything of use.*

*As for herself, with talking to others about those working in the building she begins to inquire information on technology and communications. As well as finding out any jobs that she may be of assistance. While not gaining as much ground for her career, she leaves Alzeracom on a good note and begins to look at colleges in the area. From there, she leaves and arrives back at the hotel and relaxes after a long day with a glass of wine before retiring to bed.*

*At around 2am theres call on her phone it seems to be from HR from Alzeracom, once Jackie picks up the phone she hears a womans voice on the phone*

Phone= Hello there my name is Laura im calling from Alzeracom West to inform you that we have recieved your resume and you have been granted a probationary clearance to Alzeracom under an Advanced Intern Personal. An Alzeracom extraction team is currently on route to pick you up for your first assignment. Please be ready they do not like to wait, bring shoes you can run in confortably. *she hears static on the other end and a machined voice* "End Echo Transmission"

*After perhaps a half hour goes by Jackie will hear a knock on her door, 2 men dressed in black tactical gear armed with UMP-25's 1 woman with blonde hair, blue eyes wearing a lab coat*

Laura= Jackie hello, my name is Laura im going to be your field super-visor. Im sorry we don have much time to talk but if you will follow me inot the SUV I will have our team explain tonights operation.

*Jackie stands from a table in the most practical business casual wear. Shoes comfortably fitted and padded to handle anything that gets ahead of her (at least that's what the shoe company believes). She smiles and nods deeply before heading towards the door and stops to follow Laura to where ever their destination is.*

*Inside the SUV the guards sit upfront as Jackie sits in the backseat, she notices a man sitting on the other side of her, he's wearing blue hospital style scrubs, some tennis shoes and whos slender frame is accented by his dark spikey hair and is wearing glasses*

Josh= Hey..there...so i guess your a new hire as well...my name is Josh nice to meet you.

Josh= Im not sure as to where were going but from what i gather were going out to the White Rock Desert. Seeing the guards sprayed on spider an scorpion repellent on there gear before. And i noticed the cargo truck out behind us *looks to the back of the SUV and points to it*

Josh= Loaded with computers and Optical equipment...whatever it is..were to assist in taking readings. Why we would need guards is beyond me to tell you the truth...i knew this was going to be odd when they said to wear confortable shoes

*Smiles at Josh and glances back at the cargo truck.*

I'm Jackie, pleasure to meet you. Looks like you're in more comfortable clothing anyway, and good shoes always are a necessity. As for the spiders and scorpions, I'm curious as to why we need the computers and optical equipment.

*While glancing out the windows, she has her speculations but not wanting to keep making wild guesses. But at this point, she just needs to sit back and be well rested for whatever she's about to get thrown into.*

*Laura looks back at Josh and Jackie and signals for them to look at the small tv screens embeded in the back of the head rests of the drivers seat*

Laura= Well glad to see your getting to know one another, now i know your wondering about tonights operation. In a brief manner i shall tell you, tonight we will be testing Alzeracoms accidental discovery, originally we buit this device for non organic package transport or in lamen " a teleporter". Please dont think of any Star Trek like devices...more like a Open thread of space that connects with a directed point of contact.

*The guard up front driving chimes in*

Guard1= Thing is...we sent boxes...cameras...etc in but with nothing coming out so the question is where did they go. in short they were vaporized so it would be a good idea to keep your arms and legs away from the dam thing. Instead this thing acts as an open window to what we think is another plane of existance or perhaps even another world...but thats why we are running tests tonight to see if his is indeed the case.

So... there's a chance that we can get trapped in another dimension. Did the cameras physically not come back, stopped recording and turned off, or both? As for testing... are we guinea pigs and we get to go in with rope tied around us?

*She looks between Laura and Josh to get their reaction. She still wasn't sure how Josh fit into the whole thing.*

*meanwhile Kuri finds himself being wheeled over from his room to the Helipad on the roof of Alzeracom West, there waiting is a helicopter with two guards armed with UMP-25's and Black Tactical Vests and Tan Cargo Pants and Baseball caps with the Alzeracom logo on it*

Guard1= Mr.Winters glad to see your doing well....were going to be taking you over to our biomed facility...sadly sir im not a liberty to tell you where..the back compartment windows on the chopper have been blacked out so you wont be able to see where were flying...also the jet plane you will be transfered to is the same from our underground runway.

Guard2= Once you get to the Facility your going to have to summit all your belongings at the front desk, and talking to staff is forbidden...however you may converse with the other volunteers like yourself all you want and your doctors that have been assigned to your group. Do you understand?

*After getting in the chopper Kuri sits in there for a good 4 hours not being able to see outside...once the chopper door opens he notices the chopper is indoors in a conrete bunker style setting. 8 guards armed pretty much the same as previous 2 are near the entrance of the chopper*

*The guards already in the chopper help Kuri out and escort him down a long corridor, the area has no windows and obviously underground the lights flicker slightly and they reach a check point where Kuri shows his Photo ID as do the other guards and are scanned for any weapons on there person and cellphones and other electronic devices*

Checkpoint Guard= Ok im going to have to take your cellphone and any other non essential devices...you may keep you ID but that is all

*presents a bin and places other belongings in the bin which is then locked in a metal box then placed in a terminal and lowered into a vault*

Guard1= Youll get all that back once your done with your treatments

*After a bit they arrive to a hanger like area where a custom jet G-5 model with no windows except the pilot windows have been replaced with plan metal covers*

*Once inside the plane Kuri sees a very nice set up complete with full bar, a jacuzzi, cigar humidor, large HD-TV and several game systems and a fridge filled with food and 2 flight attendants "named Dina, and Lina the twins"*

Dina= Mr.Winters we so glad your here please take a seat this flight will take some time so please make yourself at home anything we can get you please just ask

*Kuri will notice that tucked away on Dina and Lina's back at small Walther PPK's in there small outfits, the other guards around the plane remove the stairs to the plane and the plane starts up*

Thank you, Dina for your help.* too another world and a new life.*

*The Jet slowly rolls down the underground runway and the pilots doors close and lock while Lina and Dina make Kuri a drink of his choice, on the jet where the inner windows would be are small LCD screens with moving pictures of clouds and sky trying to simulate the outter sky, the jet lifts off and a moment of breif weightlessless overcomes Kuri, after a 14 hour flight Kuri feels the Jet land and after a half hour the doors of the cabin open*

*As Kuri makes his way to the lift he notices that he is in a similar underground complex but this one looks less dark and forboding but infact ultra clean and with white metal plates bolted on the walls and soft white lights hanging off the ceiling.*

*There waiting for him are 6 guards armed with Saiga 12 gauge combat shotguns and Beowulf Assualt rifles wearing black plated ballistic armor from head to toe and ballistic helmets....standing there with them however is a pleasing site of 3 doctors wearing white lab coats*

Dr.Herst= Hello Mr.Winters may i say its a pleasure to see you and i hope your flight was enjoyable...Forgive me for the heavliy armed force of guards standing here...standard company practice when your in such a high level security area.

*Dr.Herst would seem to be in his late 60's with brown balding hair, glasses and a flare for wearing tweed*

Dr.Herst= Allow me to intoduce the other members of our medical team that you will be with *Dr.Herst points to a lady who is no more than perhaps 30 at most with dark hair and of Asian ethnicity, and to a man who seems to be the oldest a man in his 70's with a grey beard, intense blue/gray eyes and combed back grey hair*

Dr.Reiko= Hello there Kuri...well arent you hansome...well dear my name is Dr.Reiko but if you so wish you can call me Susan, ill be in charge of your day to day care along with the other test subjects.

*The Older man with teh Beard says nothing with exception in a thick thick Russian Accent*

Dr.Zuirkofski= Enough with this...get him in the trial test area with the rest of the subjects...This is not some F$%&ing Tea Party...

*Dr.Reiko wheels Kuri down a corridor that seems much like something from 2001 a Space Oddity, the walls are a clean plastic white with sharp blue lights checkered through out it...the floor is a clean blue ever few hundred yards are small square offices where it seems to be a triage for doctors and nurses and each check point armed guards*

Dr.Reiko= honestly....this company is never shy to bleed money out of other programs to bulk up is Defense Contracts Divison...If they spent half the money they did with those programs...we coulda cured Diabetes by now...or even AIDS....-sigh- Alright Kuri...well here we are

*She points to a double door as it opens and there seems to be a rec room with TV's game systems, a jacuzzi, ping pong and other ammenties, as well other doors with room numbers, in the area seem to be 9 other people all in either wheel chairs or amputees*

*meanwhile back with Jackie*

Josh= So yea uh im Josh...im a med student from New Milan University, i got a nice internship out here with Alzeracom. Some guy named Harold set me up with it

Josh= So Jackie tell me about yourself?

Oh nothing much, came here to be more independent from my parents. Started looking at schools in the area and got this internship opportunity. While doing this I can keep looking at all the universities here to make my decision. I plan on going into electronics but I'm keeping my options open.
