Once a mob wife always a mob wife, I say. Thing is, most of the Mob Wife's abilities are tied to her husband, so without one, it's kinda hard to use them. Perhaps, in certain circumstances, widows could revert back to being babes.

In the case of husbands as guests of the state, this is a little more tricky. It largely depends upon the Family's view on marriage. Obviously, some families will take it much more seriously than others and bad wives with good husbands will have a harder time than good wives with bad husbands.

Optionally, the GM could rule that a Mob Wife can apply her powers to her current boyfriend or male benefactor. It certainly may be worth exploring in the upcoming book.

Well, that's kind of what Divorce does to a Wife, turns her back into a Babe. Widows should have a better situation, especially those who had nothing to do with the incident that led to them becoming widows.

Of course if it turns out she was involved, she should get a big Suspicion and Respect penalty.
