Mr. D.
I sent you an email, but think it didn't make it through. Either way I figured I would try this route as well.

I am a LONG time DM and a pretty big mob fan. My best role-player and I are looking for something new, and we stumbled across Complete Mafia. I also think that the d20 system is the best thing to come along in quite awhile, so all summed up we are pretty jazzed about giving this a go!

My question, I can't find a downloadable version of the core (I think you refer to it as the 'first' or 'book 1', *not* the new West Coast book) original rule book. I am not looking for this to avoid costs and would happily pay full hardcover price. I am looking for it for the inherent benefits one gets from digital over print media.

Not sure how often you check these boards, but if you could let me know asap, that would be great so that I can get the book ordered and in the mail if that is my only route.

Thanks,
J.

Mr. D does check the boards often, but the original deal for the first book was print-only. Not sure if the publishers of the second book would be interested in offering the first book also, but that's up to Mr. D.

Are you and your friend hot guys? I could send you a picture of my self-Sim!

No, problemo.

You can order it through www.lrgames.com or you could get it through me (but I would have to charge shipping, although I could sign it for you). Or you can order via a game store online.

I found a store here:

http://www.nobleknight.com/ViewProducts ... GenreID_E_

and here

http://www.stiggybaby.com/Merchant2/mer ... ct_Count=8

The game's been out a while and I can no longer vouch for Living Room Games' reliability. (Although they did ship me some books earlier this year, so I guess they still respond.)

If you have to get it through me, the book is $35 and with shipping, I'll have to charge you another $7 if you're in the U.S. You can send a check to:

Tony DiGerolamo
PO Box 839
Hammonton, NJ 08037

email me at imfix@comcast.net to let me know if you send the check and if you want it signed.

Mr. D

Gottamit, that's some good stuff right there. We know your time is very valuable Mr. D, and we appreciate the extra effort of all the details. We will not forget this. Everyone on this side of town will know you are a friend of the family.

Just wanted to follow up in case anyone else stumbles across this thread and is interested.

I placed an order with Living Room Games on the 12th of June. As of the 25th, my 'order status' page had not changed from "Waiting to Ship". After repeated attempts to contact them at various email addresses (I even mined their physical address from their site and tried to track down a phone number, without success), I finally gave up and called CCNow to have them cancel the charge.

I just placed an order through Noble Knights and it is already flowing far more like what I have come to expect with shopping online.

Can NOT wait to get my hands on this ruleset!!!

Thanks again for the links Mr. D.
