I assume this offer is still good... Delete or amend as necessary, Mr. D.!

My Friends:

Mr. D. is now accepting submissions for the weekly postings of Complete Mafia adventures. Our associates would like to keep the once a week posting going, so Mr. D. needs lots of adventures. If your adventure is choosen, you will be paid $10 and 50 of Respect for you to keep or distribute to one of your crew. Here are some guidelines:

1) Mr. D would like the adventures to take place in or near New Milan. You can expand upon the city, but don't do anything that would radically alter the setting. Remember, everyone's running different campaigns.

2) No real people, dead or alive, can be mentioned in the adventures even if you have their permission. No fictional characters from movies and TV shows. We can't post that, so don't use 'em. You can reference made up characters and NPC's from Complete Mafia, but again, try not to radically alter the Families. If you need to whack a guy, make a new guy up.

3) Follow the rules. Use the posted adventures as a guide for abbreviations.

Format: Cut and Paste the text of your adventure in an email and email it to Mr. D. at imfix@comcast.net. No attachments or you lose 10 points of respect. If you have a map that goes with it, email Mr. D. and ask permission before ya send it. Maps should be done over graph paper or feature some sort of easy scale of size.

Subject matter: Mr. D. prefers adventures set in 2003 New Milan, however, he is open to adventures set in earlier time periods outlined in the book. If you do an adventure that would work for two time periods, make sure you include stats for both kinds of technology.

Rights: Mr. D. will have exclusive rights to post your adventure for free. He, of course, owns anything and everything in New Milan including your adventure. If you have a character that you would like to continue to own for your own purposes, do not send it to Mr. D.

Adventure size/levels: Mr. D. would like adventures for low, medium and high level characters. You should probably keep the page length between 4 and 10 pages. If you go far beyond that, consult Mr. D. first.

Editing: Mr. D. reserves the right to edit your adventures. (Afterall, da Feds are watchin'.) Dat bein' said, make sure ya check yer spellin'. Don't be a moron, all ya have to do is click. Mr. D. may alter yer adventure to keep it consistent with the current line of adventures.

Rejections: Mr. D. might send your adventure back for some retooling or he might reject it all together. Don't take it personally. It's just business.

Currently, Mr. D. is only accepting adventures that stay within the world of Complete Mafia for d20 and the rules outlined therein. You can include new weaknesses and feats outlined in the posted adventures. You can also include other Open Game Licensed material in the d20 Modern book. Understand that if you include new feats, weaknesses or other game contributions in your adventure, Mr. D. will own it. He reserves the right to include it in future Complete Mafia adventures and publications.

Understand, that by submitting Complete Mafia for d20 adventures, you are acknowledging that Mr. D. is the boss. That means, he's been workin' on this for a long time. He's got a lot of stuff for the future expansion sets. Some of the new feats and whatnot are very obvious. Mr. D. would never steal from you, but it is possible you have thought of somethin' that he has already put on his list for a future book. (Great mind think alike, huh?) These things happen. Try not to take it personally. If you truly have a game element that you think is unique and worthy of publication that you want to make money on, you should not send it to Mr. D. His current overhead means he can't afford to buy what would no doubt be a good idea. He's lookin' to sell ideas to you, cabiche?

That bein' said, Mr. D. needs lots of adventures. He especially likes new schemes based on real crime stories and detailed NPC's with full stats. If you have any quesitons about submissions, post them in this thread.

Frankie Viola for Mr. D.
